The new Apple Macbook air maintains the classic slim wedge-shaped design. I know it is simple, but my absolute favorite part about the Macbooks is the aluminum exterior. Because of Apple’s extensive collection of patents, no other company can make a laptop quite like them. The aluminum Macbook is perhaps the best example of that. For some, it may seem like an expensive computer, but to me what is truly expensive is paying close to $1,000 for a computer that is made out of plastic.
Speaker System on the new Macbook Air
Although we don’t have the exact data on the sound levels output by the new speakers, Apple has been bragging that the speakers on the new Macbook air are the most powerful we’ve seen thus far. This is because Apple has added two new bass units, one on each side. This gives the speakers a strong output of sound that almost feels like its coming from multiple directions. One of my biggest complaints about the old Macbooks is that they just don’t get loud enough. I feel like I can’t just put a movie on and listen to it from the other side of the room. Hopefully this will be different with the new Macbook air, we have certainly heard some great things about the new speakers!
Trackpad on the new Macbook
Although this might not be that interesting for some people, I think that it makes a big deal. The trackpad still has the same design and seamless integration to the laptop, but this time it is even more responsive. You might need to dial down the settings at first because it is really sensitive. If you don’t feel like doing this, you will definitely get used to it after a few days. Overall, it will make your life easier as you will need less swipes to get your mouse where you want it to go.
